Mickey Mouse stage and Michael Park
Wikipedia's topic, Wales Rally GB has referred to my blog about Mickey Mouse stages.
But referred page was obsolete.
So, I rewrite an entry about Mickey Mouse stage.
Following dialogue between Michael Park and Markko Martin is quoted from Autosport's booklet published just before Wales Rally GB in 2005. I think it was one of the last articles during Michael's lifetime.
Michael Park: Obviously I like Rally GB, what do you think?
Markko Martin: Well, if you like it, then I have to like it. Actually, I do really like the stages. I'm not so keen on repeating the stages. I never got to do one of the round-Britain RACs.
Park: No. You had some of the Sunday legs, the Mickey Mouse stages. I did some of the 'proper' ones. It's not the same rally now, not the same as when I was spending five days in a car as a kid. Moving it to September kind of takes it away from what the RAC always was: dark and foggy. But then again, with my driver, I guess I'd rather not have darkness and fog! Sorry, that was below the belt.
Martin: Maybe you're right. I've grown up on rallies where there's no fog. I grew up watching the RAC on television.
I'll be grad someone edits wikipedia's entry to link the proper page,

It has been seven and a half years since Michael was killed by the terrible accident.
I also uploaded video of Markko and Michael's last running at Millennium Stadium in 2005 Wales Rally GB.
RIP Michael Park.
